One-on-One
Coaching for Teens 

  • Prepare for an important audition so you can bring your best to the opportunity. 

  • Find and perfect “just right” monologue for you to have in your toolbox.

  • Work on challenging aspects of a character in a current or upcoming production. 

  • Hone your public speaking and presentation skills. 

  • Explore acting as a beginner, learning foundational skills that you can build on, increasing your empathy for others while building self-compassion, resilience, and confidence.

  • Deepen your skill as a committed actor; help break “bad habits,” and learn how to consistently create true and authentic work.

  • Available in-person in West Knoxville, TN or virtually anywhere online.

One-on-One Coaching is available on an individual basis or as semester sessions. Students enrolled in sessions will have an elective showcase of their work at the end of the semester. New students are being accepted and registered now for the semester session.

Actor’s Studio
CLASSES FOR TEENS

  • Scene study and monologue work

  • Development of intuition and imagination 

  • Script interpretation

  • Defining and implementing needs and objectives  

  • Relaxation and mindfulness techniques to promote presence

  • Development of professional rigor and artistic risk-taking

  • Experience and support the truly collaborative art of acting and theatre making 

The advanced actor’s studio is a conservatory style class where we will dive deep into the art of acting. This class will require some outside work and students may need to meet with their scene partner for rehearsal time outside of class.

Entrance into the classes does not require a traditional audition, but the completion of at least one individual coaching session is required prior to registering so that the commitment of the actor can be explored and a foundational working relationship can be created. Students will have a showcase of their work at the end of each semester session.
